Valckenberg
You can taste tradition and passion in Valckenberg’s wines. Established in 1786 – a few years before the French Revolution and 10 years after the American Declaration of Independence –Valckenberg is still a family-owned company. It is now the oldest family-owned wine merchant in Germany.
Their vineyards on the banks of the river Rhine, in Worms are more than 500 years old. Now Valckenberg exports wine to 40 countries. The world-famous original Madonna Liebfraumich comes from a vineyard owned by the Valckenberg family in Worms. In the middle of the estate, a statue of Madonna stands blessing the vineyards.
